Undergraduate Student Government has chartered a bus to downstate Michigan as an alternative way to travel for Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break for the last few years. If you have purchased a ticket in the past, I'd like to thank you for making this a successful endeavor.

USG has historically chartered two buses for each break. Once again, tickets will be available to purchase online, as this will allow students (or family/friends) to purchase a ticket with a credit card. The schedule for ticket sales is available below:

Spring Break Buses 2023:

Information to be announced

After you have purchased a ticket, it is YOUR responsibility to stop by the USG office (MUB 113) and sign a liability release form or email a signed PDF copy to usg@mtu.edu. This liability waiver needs to either be turned in in person at the USG office in the MUB or emailed to usg@mtu.edu by TBA. Students who do not have a waiver on file cannot board the bus! If you purchase a ticket but do not sign a release form, you will not be able to ride the bus and will NOT be refunded. If you will be under the age of 18 at the time of riding the bus, you will need a parent to sign your waiver. The waiver can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19UMqIYhiRasEyHw2bFdVO3kj7rpkONOL/view?usp=sharing

The route will be the same as previous trips with stops in St. Ignace, Gaylord, Clare, and the final stop in East Lansing. Additional details are provided on the Eventbrite website.

The link to purchase a ticket is: TBA

More information regarding the route can also be found there.

If you have any questions, please contact USG at usg@mtu.edu. And thank you for considering the Break Bus!
